About this web dev role

For this job, you must have the ability to develop large-scale websites for our clients. Kentico Xperience is a content management system that utilizes the ASP.NET framework. The sites you would build range from micro/promotional sites to e-commerce implementations for enterprise-level customers. A successful candidate for Kentico .NET developer jobs at Ntara, will demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

This job can be remote. The majority of our staff is based in Johnson City, Tennessee.

What we’re looking for in a .NET web developer

Knowledge & understanding of:

  • Kentico Xperience CMS product
  • Multi-tier web application development
  • ASP.NET C#
  • Object-oriented programming concepts
  • SOLID principles 
  • HTML/CSS implementation and development
  • T-SQL (Transform Services and Database Design)
  • Stored procedures
  • Source control experience

Working knowledge of:

  • Visual Studio .NET 2010 / 2012 / 2013 / 2015 / 2017
  • Windows 10 Professional
  • Tortoise SVN 
  • Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2012
  • IIS 7 / 7.5
  • JetBrains Suite of products included Resharper and TeamCity
  • Microsoft Office products

Things that will help you excel at Ntara

  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Content management experience (Kentico, EpiServer, Ektron, Sitefinity, etc)
  • E-commerce platform experience (Insite Software, U-commerce, EpiServer, Kentico)
  • E-commerce implementation, deployment, and integrations
  • Product Information Management Platform experience (PIM) such as inriver
  • Implementation of third-party APIs and SDKs
  • SVN / GIT source control
  • TeamCity and / or automated build tools
  • Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure and Hosting
  • Management of web and database servers
  • Experience in developing client side tools with JavaScript
  • Writing and interacting with SOAP and REST web services
  • Leadership and management capabilities
  • Application development
  • Mobile/app development (Objective C, Swift, Java)
  • Advanced (responsive) front-end skills (HTML, CSS, & Javascript)
