Clients love that Znode is API-driven and it’s a hybrid model. And that’s because clients, especially manufacturers and distributors, often have a lot of digital transformation initiatives going on at once. There are bootstrapped systems that have been created from the ground up that are custom internally. There are established ERPs that are very old. And when you have a system that can be deployed in a headless way, and integrated with any of those systems very easily—or can be used as a traditional platform that can be operated without development—it’s something that can easily be incorporated into any ecosystem and get those ecommerce projects up and running quickly.
Znode has incorporated a fully featured product information management (or PIM) solution into the platform. This is something that, for more straightforward product catalogs, we’re able to utilize for the entire duration of the project. And, for more complicated scenarios, what it allows us to do is to upload a subset of the product catalog and get an ecommerce site up and running months ahead of time versus what it would take to incorporate a full PIM into the ecommerce project first.
Another key benefit of Znode for our clients is its inherent capability to have multi-store. This is something that’s touted by others, but really it’s core to the way that Znode was designed. It’s not appropriate for quick turn B2C websites with just a handful of SKUs, for example. But where it really shines is in a multi-store, multi-channel environment with very complicated use cases. It really simplifies those things, and allows our team to get things to market quicker.
